Hi, this is the head pooper scooper here at Animal EDventures and the biggest question I get asked is how did we get started?
In 2010 we sent my daughter to summer camp where she got a chance to hang out with horses for a day.. when she got home I was able to see in her eyes. Her life changed from just a few hours on a horse farm. I then went on craigslist and found a horse for lease in Boca Raton, Florida cost us $200 for the month Was the best thing we had ever done for our daughter and the rest of our family...
We quickly realized how incredible it was to be around animals,
So I decided we would rescue a horse for my daughter. This horse was abused, neglected, and needed a great home her name is Kona! You can visit her at our safari location, where she lives with me and my family to this day.. if it wasn’t for Kona, we would not be doing this today … within a couple of months we had rescued four horses, a donkey, some sheep and a cow. I’m sure you can imagine how much money it costs to feed and care for these animals, but we were willing to do whatever it took.. but we needed to make some revenue so we can continue in our effort to help these incredible animals .. after meeting with my family we had decided we were gonna open up a small petting zoo/pony ride business for parties to try to bring in some revenue so we can continue.. we quickly realized that this was a very difficult business to bring in enough money to take care of the animals that we had and any future animals that needed our help, so we decided to open up a small petting zoo location where people could come to us at a discounted price instead of us traveling to them for a party. This is how animal EDventure Park was born. Started as Pet N Parties
I tell people that Kona is the most important animal we have and that’s because She is taught us everything we know about how to respect animals how to care for them and how to communicate with them.. Kona didn’t teach us how to become animal whisperers she taught us how to become animal listeners.. not only did she teach us a lot of lessons in communicating with animals how to care for them and respect them. She is also taught us lots of life lessons. I would not be the person I am today if it wasn’t for her. when you come out to visit any of our locations. One of the things you’ll notice is how happy our animals are and how caring the people that work with them are as well not only our family , but our staff as well we don’t just hire anybody you can easily identify the care and love for these incredible animals our family and staff has
Animal EDventure Park & Safari has grown into 2 locations in Boynton Beach, Florida
Both locations are quite different
Our Safari location is located at our private property. It is reservation only and we have different tours to choose from, they are all walk-through guided safari tours. Each tour includes different encounters and opportunities to add on experiences. If you want to play with otters hold Sloths interact with monkeys meet Kona and see where all of our animals live this is the location for you.
Our animal park is located at Bedners Farm. It is open to the public every Saturday and Sunday from 10 AM to 4 PM. Weather permitting this location is great for families and outings. It is not structured or guided like our safari location. Admission is $15 per person, and that includes all day access!! you can leave and come as you please .. admission always includes one exotic animal counter. There are options to upgrade to others and purchasing feed is available as well.
A lot of people ask where we get our animals from the majority of the animals that you will see at either location you visit have been rescued, adopted or surrendered to us.. you can always ask any of our tour guides or staff a little background on each animal we highly suggest doing so and if you don’t want to ask odds are we’re gonna tell you anyway
So please, if you haven’t visited either of our locations I highly suggest doing so remember, the Safari location is reservation only do not show up without one. We sell out every single tour in advance. Our animal park does not take reservations, but since our animal don’t live there there are certain times that we will not open that location so please check our social media pages for up to the second updates on hours of operation

Our tour with guide Haley was wonderful. She was knowledgeable, our daughter had a blast, the animals are well cared for, and there was more interaction with animals than expected. Especially with the kangaroos. I highly recommend a visit.
I was skeptical of going, because I always feel like petting zoos don’t give a great experience of being hands on with the animals as they say they do. Well, this totally changed my mind! Not only was it completely reasonable and for the $25 (which I think is a great price for so many people to be able to experience this) it was such an amazing experience for me and my family. The staff was awesome Reece was our tour guide and she was great. We literally got so up close and personal with so many different animals. The fee to feed the animals is included in the price. She explained and answered almost every question everyone had. I truly recommend this place, you won’t be disappointed. I wish it was closer to us, I would be there everyday volunteering.
We came to Boyton Beach, from Philadelphia, just for this experience. An absolute great experience. Our tour guide, Moni, was fabulous and had a ton of knowledge. I truly recommend visiting the staff and animals!
What a thrilling experience it was to touch a baby otter, squirrel monkey, kangaroo, lamas, alpacas, goats and cows. Mia our tour guide was very well informed and we learned a lot about the animals. She was very courteous and you could tell she loves them. We really enjoyed this experience and will tell all our friends. Thank you!
We loved it. petted sloth, kangaroo, goats, Fed the goats, camel. They had emu and rheas, porcupine (adorable), lemurs. Its about an hour...well put together and the guide was excellent, very knowledgeable. and the animals and all of us were quite safe and kept social distanced. They had hand sanitizer everywhere. Would go back in a second.
Bravo to this family-owned animal park located on their private home property, for pivoting during the pandemic and creating a new business venture! Reservations are mandatory & done via text. They take up to 22 vehicles, split into 2 groups, each with its own tour guide which you listen to via conference call. They show many different species of animals, including camels, zebra, kangaroo, snake, otter, lemur & more! Many are brought right up to the closed windows of your vehicle. The guide provides tons of fascinating info about each animal. Tours take about 30min, plus time to venture into your own private pumpkin patch, with pumpkins available for purchase.
We took a group of 5 adults, 2 teens & 1 toddler in 3 vehicles. EVERYONE enjoyed it and thought it was well worth the trip from the Plantation/Sunrise area!
